This meditation class introduces three types of meditation: shamatha (calming the mind while focusing on an object, such as breath), vipassana (insight), and open awareness (allowing everything equal focus through relaxation).

Beginning with a 10 to 20 minute gentle "shamatha" meditation at the start of each class, which facilitates the group's cohesiveness, one is encouraged to relax cognitive perception so that a more body-centered ease of being can be experienced and cultivated. This "ease of being" is discovered through the cultivation of becoming aware of the physical sensations and feelings within the body.

Direct perception and experiential insight through sensation is practiced in the head, heart and belly as well as all other areas of the whole body.

This meditation class is an invitation to relax from mental constructs and ideas in order to experience a more intimate connection with the body and moment to moment awakened presence. This will involve breathwork, movement, guided navigation into the body, dialogue and silent sittings.

As a group, we provide a loving, non-judgmental space for each other so as to cultivate a deeper and more authentic "ease of being".

Ease of being could also be referred to as "fundamental consciousness", "soul" or "self". Please email or call if you are interested in joining our group.

This class is built on the fundamentals learned within the "Ease of Being" meditation class. After cultivating more ease and feeling awareness in the body, this class will further assist you in establishing the Primary Relationship: a heart-centered union between the personality and soul.

This experiential class uses silent meditation, short teachings and one-on-one facilitation. You will be supported, in a loving and non-judgmental environment, to navigate into the depths of your being.

A "Call to Union" is a class that will be focused more upon the cultivation of a kind, compassionate heart, rather than the trappings, limitations and illusions of a personal enlightenment.

Please email if you are interested. A date will be found that works for everyone. Registration is open and space is limited in order to provide for an intimate setting.
