Acupuncture
Your body has an energetic intelligence capable of maintaining health.

With the formula E=MC2, Einstein proved that matter is energy and that energy is all there is. This energy, when it is found in the body, is described with many cultural names: prana, spirit, ether, ruach, kundalini, or vital force.

Practitioners of acupuncture have called this energy Qi (pronounced chee) for the past 5,000 years.

Qi is the vital energy in all living things. It flows as an invisible current throughout the body. It can be felt through the pulses, shines through the eyes, and activates thought and motion.

Acupuncture specifically defines and corrects energy imbalances in the body. It aids in restoring the body's natural functioning and harmony.

In Oriental medicine, each organ is a system associated with specific emotions and functions of the body. When the energetic balance of the organ system is restored, mental and emotional levels also come into harmony. Since most pain and disease arises from some form of energetic imbalance, acupuncture is a preventative measure and a treatment for existing problems as well as addressing traumas and injuries.

By combining traditional and progressive wisdom, my treatments can bring you to a place of stillness and balance. This stillness is profoundly relaxing, restoring clarity, renewing your sense of vitality, and aiding the natural process of healing. We call this mode of healing Acupuncture.

Stop., Listen, Be Still. One second is all that is needed for that point of stillness that merges body and mind to be discovered again.

"Thank you Dr. Sara for giving me the precise remedy I needed for my depression. I'm laughing through situations I would have been frowning through a week ago. No need for anti-depressants." --- EC
