Dr. Sara Kendall Gordon, L. Ac., DAOM lives and practices in Marin County, California. For the past 19 years, she has maintained a private practice as an acupuncturist and herbalist focusing on functional medicine though clinical nutrition. She specializes in Immune, inflammatory and painful conditions. Dr. Gordon is also trained in the field of Neuro-Endocrine Immunology, which supports the brain, and hormonal system while enhancing Immune function for optimal health. Utilizing the presence of stillness and gentle navigational body centered counseling, Open Heart training is introduced during treatment time for patients. Private individual or couple sessions are available.

Open Heart training, meditation and the Alchemy of an Open Heart retreats have been developed to create an environment to support living more consciously from the heart. Learning to live from an open heart takes regular contact and relational training.The skills learned in these classes are tangible with qualitative experience and guidance. The emphasis on the cultivation of feeling awareness in the body is taught as a primary skill. A loving relationship toward yourself is mentored and facilitated.

True medicine incorporates the skill of direct contact with the loving nature of the true heart. For the body, mind, personality and soul to come into union as a loving whole and live unencumbered by our individual conditioning, it takes dedicated awareness practice.
